Copy Editing

Working as copy editors, my office neighbor and I spent all day making sure all things were spelled correctly. When one "controlling" person decided we needed a magnetic board for attendance, we protested. But the best part was when she put together the individual magnets and Erik Garcia became forever known as Garica. She never figured out why we called Erik "Garica," but I made sure I took his nameplate and magnet the day he was laid off in August. I had breakfast with Garica this morning and returned these treasures to him.

Mission Call

Here I am having story time with my dear friends the Zimmermans on one of my many visits to their home. My good friend Taylor Zimmerman, on the left, received his mission call this week to Vancouver, British Columbia, Mandarin speaking. He leaves July 8. We will miss our good friend Taylor, but are grateful for his willingness to serve a mission. Can't wait to have him order our Chinese food for us in a couple of years!
